Double Gingham

TOPS: GINGHAM BUTTON DOWN SHIRTS C/O  //  SKIRT: RED LACE PENCIL SKIRT C/O (USE CODE DASH20 FOR 20% OFF FOR ONE WEEK!)

Every now and then I like to get a little layering action on.  I feel like it's been a while since we have seen the layered look reign supreme (it's all about minimalism right now)... but I still love this preppy styling trick.  This post might have been the last time I wore double gingham (almost two years ago)!  I did a little "messy tuck," as I like to call it because it gives it a little unstructured feel.  While I like looking put together - I don't like to look too pulled together sometimes, if you know what I mean.

Anyway, I love the pop of bright berry under this pastel pink gingham top.  Both tops and the skirt are from Mindy Mae's Market and are really awesome - and (bonus!) super affordable!  I love them all paired together but there are endless options you can do with all three pieces.

Anyway, thanks for stopping by.  Enjoy your Monday and thanks for following along.

PS, can you believe I started this blog a little over two years ago?!  That's INSANE!  Where has the time gone?  If you have been with me since the beginning - I literally want to give you a hug... and if you are new, I hope you love and stay for the friendships I hope to create with you.  My appreciation for you all is so deep.  I can't begin to tell you how fun it has been creating this blog and meeting so many like-minded creatives who have the same interests as me.  So thank you, from the bottom of my heart, to you all for following along and being my internet friends.

Keds Five Days, Five Ways: Day 5

SHOES: KEDS CHAMPION WOVEN LACE SNEAKERS  //  TOP: SCOOP NECK TEE  //  VEST: BELT TIE VEST TRENCH  //  JEANS: 'ROCKSTAR' SKINNY JEANS  //  BAG: YSL MONOGRAMME BAG  //  SUNGLASSES: ILLESTEVA 'LEONARD II'
Hello Sunday. Today I am sharing my last look of the five days, five ways series with Keds. I decided to keep things casual for the weekend - but I looveee this military trench vest because you can definitely dress it up or down. I paired it with these laid back lace Keds... they have a little bohemian flair and I would love to pair them with some boyfriend denim shorts and a loose boho blouse or a playful lace romper.  They are perfect for Summer.

Anyway, I hope you enjoyed seeing all five looks and thanks for stopping by my site.  Tonight Ben and I are enjoying a "stay-cation" at the W Scottsdale so be sure to follow along on my Instagram for all the fun.

Keds Five Days, Five Ways: Day 4

DRESS: PINK CANDY STRIPE DRESS  //  SHOES: KEDS x KATE SPADE LADY BUG SNEAKERS C/O  //  BAG: YSL MONOGRAMME BAG  //  SUNGLASSES: RETRO ROUND SUNGLASSES  //  LIPS: YSL VOLUPTE TINT-IN-OIL (#5)
Happy Saturday, darlings! So I must confess, this pink stripe dress is one of my all-time favorites.  I bought it thinking I would just try and give it a go since I am a huge fan of pink and day-dresses... and I ended up absolutely loving it.  I definitely feel like a pink candy striper in this dress... so I went with the theme by pairing it with my favorite Keds x Kate Spade ladybug sneakers.  They are so fun and comfortable to run around in all day, then you can switch to a fabulous pair of nude heels for date night out.

Happy Friday. Today marks day three of my five days, five ways with Keds.  I am all about a monochrome outfit with a subtle pop of color.  I love this pink boyfriend blazer - it is such a staple... and ps, pastel pink is definitely a neutral in my book.  The Polka Dot Keds add a fun, playful vibe to the look.

Today's look is easy and relaxed.  I wore this Lush striped pencil dress again while I was in Austin for SXSW because it was seriously so comfortable.  Wear it with some cool sneakers like these classic striped Keds for a casual daytime look and switch to booties or heels at night.

It's an easy dress to wear again and again, and I kind of have been.

Thanks for stopping by.  Enjoy your Thursday.
